About Cliff

A Rockville, CT native... attended Northeast School, Rockville High School and graduated from Manchester Community College... one of the first graduating classes. Once retired, now re-working, corporate executive with a musicology background. Owned my own music businesses in years past, and now do music production work privately for radio (WWUH) and concert shows (Jon "Bowzer" Bauman's Annual Doo-Wop Shows at the Mohegan Sun).

I am presently Executive Director of the Rockville Downtown Association, President of the Gene Pitney Commemorative Committee, Inc. and a Director on the Board of the Vernon Community Arts Center.

I recently helped produce the very successful RDA Acappella Slam in Vernon and also volunteer my graphic arts services to Vernon's Carnival Committee that puts on the Annual "Summer Days" Carnival at Connecticut Golfland.

My blog will focus on local history, preservation and how music affects our lives... and I will remind people of the significant events that took place musically throughout the past 60 years or so thru my "This Week in Music History" blogs.

I'll also keep everyone posted on the progress of important downtown projects... like the "Rediscovery of Hockanum Falls" project. Be watching for updates!

Hi Cliff,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.

If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Here is the link for the film:
