New England Civil War Museum is inside the longest continuously used Grand Army of the Republic Hall in the United States. The museum is dedicated to preserving the memory and lessons of the Civil War. It leads an education outreach program that seeks to educate youth and adults. In addition, the museum collects and preserves documents and other materials pertaining to the history of the Civil War. The library and other archives are available to the public by appointment only.
