Town Council Kicking Off a New Term This Week
It will be Daniel Champagne's first meeting as mayor.
The first Town Council Meeting of the new term is scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:30 at Town Hall.
It is the first meeting for Daniel Champagne as mayor.
Here are the agenda highlights:
• Adoption of the Town Council schedule for 2014-15.
• Adoption of the Town Council rules.
• Election of Mayor pro tempore, or deputy mayor.
• Summary by Emergency Management Director Michael Purcaro of the after-action report from the recent full-scale disaster drill at Rockville High School.
• Appointment of Harold "Hal" Cummings as town attorney.
• Appointment of Elizabeth Foran as assistant town attorney.
• Appointment of Martin Burke as assistant town attorney.
• Bid waiver request for the purchase of extrication equipment from Firematic Supply Co.
