The Rockville Rotary annual Community Service Awards and Officer Installation Dinner is scheduled for Monday at Georgina's Restaurant in Bolton.
The event is scheduled to begin at at 6 p.m.
The Rockville Rotary Club includes members from Vernon, Tolland and Ellington. For more than 60 years, the club has been a model of service in the area.
Meeting highlights include:
• A speech by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman. She will also be presenting a proclamation to the Rotary's outstanding citizen of the year.
• The Rotary will be presenting several computer systems to the Cornerstone Foundation, for educational and vocational usage.
• One of the presenters will be be recently retired Rockville ban CEO William McGurk, who is always entertaining.
• The installation of new officers.
