Rockville Public Library Hosts Appreciation Reception

The Rockville Public Library's board of trustees thanked volunteers on Thursday evening.

The main reading room of the Rockville Public Library at 52 Union St. was filled with elected officials, library staff members and many volunteers that had helped the Library with their service and financial contributions over the past year.

Artist's renderings and plans for an addition to the Library were displayed, and Library Director Donna R. Enman was honored with a greeting card signed by entire board of Trustees, and large pink packages of baked good for the library staff.

An upcoming capital campaign was briefly discussed by Board of Trustees Vice-President Thomasina Clemons for the funding of the new addition that will house a young adults section, an expanded stack area, a conference room, offices and an elevator.
