Sunday is the second of the month, and that means an open house at the New England Civil War Museum.
It is also open the fourth Sunday of the month. Open houses run from noon to 3 p.m. The museum is located in the vintage Grand Army of the Republic Hall on second floor of Town Hall.
This week's feature exhibits are the Smith Guard, Co. F, 5th Connecticut Regiment - Rockville's "first company" and the Kilbourne Newell (14th Connecticut Regiment) collection.
The museum is maintained and operated by Alden Skinner Camp No. 45, Sons of Union Veterans.
