Students Celebrate Walk and Bike to School Day
Even the police took to the sidewalk ...
Wednesday was national Walk and Bike to School Day.
Throughout town students gathered on sidewalks and walked or rode their bikes to school.
Buses dropped students off a half-mile easily so they could walk as well.
At Center Road School, Community Policing patrol Officer Mike Patrizz came off an night shift and met students on the sidewalk with his departmental bike to accompany them up the hill.
The day is also a tradition at Skinner Road School.
