School Board Adds Two Public Comment Sessions to Wednesday Budget Workshop
The revised agenda was posted on Tuesday.
The Board of Education has revised its agenda for Wednesday's budget workshop to include a public comment session before and after formal discussions.
The workshop is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., in the school administration building. The agenda was revised on Tuesday afternoon, well within the 24-hour window required for special meeting postings.
Superintendent of schools Mary Conway has proposed a $52,913,759 budget for the school system over the 2014-15 fiscal year. That is $2,418,972, or 4.79 percent, over this year's $50,494,787 budget.
