Possell Named Early Childhood Chief and Athletic Director
RHS vice principal moving to PE spot.
Maple Street Street School Principal Lois Possell has been named to a unique dual role in the Vernon school system.
Possell is moving to the central office, where she will be the supervisor of early childhood education and special programs at Central Office as well as the district's athletic director.
Possell will begin her new position as "on or before Aug. 1," and the MSS principal position has been posted and interviews will begin soon, school officials said. An official announcement is imminent, school officials said.

Interviews for the Lake Street School principal's post are almost complete, school system officials said.
At Rockville High School, Sue Andrews, an assistant principal, will be taking a position as the PE/health teacher at RHS, according to school system officials. Interviews for a new assistant principal at RHS will be completed shortly, school system officials said.
