Calendar Approved for 2014-15 Vernon Education Budget
The superintendent's budget is slated for presentation on Jan. 13 at the school administration building as part of a regular Board of Education meeting.
The Board of Education on Tuesday formally adopted the budget schedule for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
Superintendent of Schools Mary Conway is slated to present her proposed budget to the public at 6 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the school administration building as part of a regular Board of Education meeting.
The remainder of the budget calendar is as follows:
• Jan. 15, 2014 - 6 to 8 p.m., budget workshop.
• Jan. 22, 2014 - 6 to 8 p.m., budget workshop.
• Jan. 29, 2014 - 6 to 8 p.m., budget workshop.
• Feb. 3, 2014 - 6 p.m., special meeting to approve the school system proposed budget.
• Feb. 10, 2014 - Proposed school system budget delivered to the mayor.
All meetings are slated for the school administration building.
Opportunities for public comment are slated for end end foe the Jan. 13 meeting and at the beginning of the other scheduled meetings.
