Beloved Crossing Guard the Center of Attention on Tuesday
It is a thank you gesture during the last week of school.
Students who walk to Center Road School and their parents snuck out onto Center Road on Monday evening - after the storm - to decorate sidewalks to honor popular crossing guard George Keenan.
Keenan is known for his outgoing personality and caring attitude toward the students.
CRS parent Angela Vernola came up with the idea and she was joined by several other parents and students.
It is the last week of school in Vernon.
