The usual spectacular highlighted July in the Sky - Vernon's annual 4th of July celebration.
After more than three hours of community fellowship in Downtown Rockville and Henry Park, a fireworks show put an exclamation point on the annual July in the Sky celebration.
It's Vernon's way of commemorating the 4th of July.
Thousands took part in games, ate food and marched in the annual Push, Pedal, Pull Patriotic Parade.
