There Will Be Plenty to Eat at the July in the Sky Food Court

The downtown portion of the event is slated to begin at 6 p.m.

This is the second installment in a series leading up the to 2012 July in the Sky fireworks show, scheduled for July 3.

The event is sponsored by the Rockville Community Alliance and the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department.

Here's a look at the food court for this Year's July in the Sky celebration . The festivities are scheduled to begin in Downtown Rockville at 6 p.m. The fireworks will be set of at about 9:40 p.m., organizers said.

• Kidsafe/Exchange Club: Fried dough.

• Monster Mouse Grill House: Gourmet grilled cheese, french fries,
deep fried pickles, potato chips.

• I Made It: Steak and cheese, sausage and Peppers, s’mores,
hamburgers, shaved steak, lemonade.

• Nana’s Ice Cream: All the favorite ice creams and pops.

• Friendly’s Ice Cream: Sundaes and other Friendly’s specialties.

• Keifer’s Kettle Korn: The best kettle corn, organizers say … and Italian
ices too.

• Vernon Democrats: Snack foods and chips.

• Rockville Community Alliance: Iced coffee and cotton candy.

• Russ’ Time: Old-fashioned hot dogs with all the fixings, soda.

• Antonio’s: Pizza and grinders.

• Pizza Palace: Pizza, grinders, good things from the menu.
