A starting date has been set for this summer's Rockville Farmers' Market.
The market is scheduled for every Thursday in July and August, starting July 12. The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will take place in the parking lot of Courthouse Plaza - the Ladd & Hall lot on the East Main Street side.
The market is being sponsored by the Rockville Downtown Association and will feature fresh products.
More vendors are needed and those interested in selling their fruit, produce and other products are encouraged to call 860-871-1597 to reserve a free space.
"Buy fresh, buy local" is the theme of the farmers' market.
"The RDA is excited to bring this event to downtown Rockville," RDA President Lisa Moody said.
