The Vernon girls softball team in the Middle School Division this summer finished in first place in the Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League's East Division.
The team had a record of 10–2 in the regular season and finished with a record of 14–2 after the postseason NCGSL Middle School Tournament.
Rob Silver managed the team and Morgan Bolduk was the East Division MVP.
Bolduk was joined by Sarah Silver and Tiffany Cosgrove on the East Division All-star team for the Middle School Division.
