The Rams' home opener is scheduled for Friday against E.O. Smith.
Coach Israel Caban's team went 7-13 a year ago but bring several key returnees back for the 2013-14 campaign.
Seniors expected to make key contributions are guard Courtney Joubert, forward Katherine Cuting, guard Hannah Steed and guard Wendy Weston.
Other key players for RHS are senior forward Anna McCann junior forward Taylor Krajewski and junior Katie Davis.
"We have a strong core of returnees from a team that made some strides a year ago," Caban said. "The addition of a strong freshmen class and senior Anna McCain on the boards, should help us make a run into the postseason."
