Colby-Sawyer College has named Kathryn M. Sedler from Vernon to the Dean's List for academic achievement during the 2012 fall semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses. Sedler, a member of the class of 2013, is majoring in Nursing.

Cassandra Waung of Vernon, class of 2016, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Assumption College. To make the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
