Academic Honors for Vernon Students

UHart, Sacred Heart, Springfield and Stonehill announce Dean's Lists.

Here are the latest academic accolades bestowed upon Vernon's college students:

Kristen Sullivan of Vernon was named to the fall Dean's List at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.

To receive the honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.

Stonehill College in Easton. MA, recently named the following local residents to its Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester:

• Vernon resident Peter D. Timbrell, a member of the class of 2013.

• Vernon resident Kelly I. Falkowski, a member of the class of 2014.

To qualify for the Dean's List at Stonehill, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Springfield College has named the following local residents to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2011 term:

• Becker Wank of Vernon. Becker is studying psychology.

• Ethan McCain of Vernon. Ethan is studying art therapy.

• Jeremy Susi of Vernon. Jeremy is studying movement and sports studies.

• Leila Rebai of Vernon. Leila is studying health science and a pre-physicians assistant program.

• Alicia Annelli. Alicia is studying health science and pre-physical therapy.

• Brenda Machado of Vernon. Brenda is studying human services.

• Ildiko Szabo of Vernon. Ildiko is studying human services.

• Lauren Morency of Vernon. Lauren is studying English.
