Vernon Education Officials Post Back to School Supply List
School in Vernon is scheduled to begin on Aug. 29 and 30.
Vernon public education officials have released the list of suggested school supplies for students on pre-kindergarten through Grade 5.
The list includes basic supplies that school officials say are useful for all elementary school students:
• Backpack.
• No. 2 pencils.
• Glue sticks.
• Crayons.
• Colored Pencils.
• Pink Erasers.
• Pencil Box.
• Highlighters.
• Dry erase markers.
• Two-pocket folders.
• Scissors.
• One subject spiral notebooks (Grades 3-5).
The first day of school for students in kindergarten through Grade 6, and Grade 9 is scheduled for Aug. 29.
The first day of school for pre-K students and those in grades 7 and 8 and 10 through 12 is scheduled for Aug. 30.
