Update: School To Resume on Wednesday
Attached is a letter from Superintendent of Schools Mary Conway to parents of Vernon Public School students.
Highlights from the letter (please read the attached Pdf):
• School will be closed on Monday, November 7th.
• School will be closed on Tuesday, November 8th, as originally planned. Teachers will be reporting for Professional Development at Rockville High School.
• School will re-open for students on Wednesday, November 9th.
• School will be in session on Friday, November 11th. This was originally considered as the Veteran's Day Holiday, but due to tremendous amount of instructional time lost, Vernon Schools will be open.
