• Superintendent of Schools Mary Conway and the Board discussed revising the 2012 Spring Recess in April to coincide with neighboring school districts. Tolland, South Windsor, Bolton and Ellington will be taking their 2012 Spring Recess from April 16 to 20, one week later than Vernon. Vernon’s 2012 Spring Recess is scheduled for April 9 to 13.

The Board discussed what the neighboring school districts are doing for February break, the benefits of conforming to other towns, and the impact of changing the Vernon calendar.
