Rockville High Football Team Gets First Win

The RHS running attack was too much for Weaver.

The Rockville High School football team picked up its first win of the season on Friday with a 40-16 win over Weaver at home.

Heading into the game, RamCoach Rob Scholtz touted it as a matchup of two rebuilding programs - one that likes to throw in Weaver and one that likes to run in Rockville.

The runners won. Devon Charles had 120 yards and three touchdowns and Trenton Shelton had 125 yards with a 71-yard score.

Rockville also had to make adjustments to its offensive line because of injuries.

The Rams are 1-2. They are scheduled to play at Bloomfield next Friday at 7 p.m.
