RHS Volleybal Team Wins, Football, Girls Soccer Squads Fall

Girls Volleyball

Rockville jumped on top of Bloomfield early and took a 3-1 match on Friday.

The game scores were 25-16, 25-23 , 21-25 and 25-18.

Megan Leopard had seven kills and Amy Eitelman had eight aces for the Rams.

Erika Porras had 14 assists for Bloomfield. Bloomfield fell to 1-2.

RHS, how 1-1, is at Tolland on Wednesday.

Girls Soccer

Rockville lost to EO Smith 2-1 at home on Friday. 

For E.O. Smith, Lacie Haskell and Marissa Peczuh scored a goal each.

Morgan Skoly scored for Rockville.

Devon Asselin had a pair of saves for EO Smith and Shelby Barnes also had two saves for Rockville.

Sarah Provencher, Sarah Vincze, Laura Skoly, and Lindsey Brousseau played well for Rockville.

Rockville fell to 0-2, while EO Smith went to 1-1.

Football

Rockville traveled to Rocky Hill on Friday to open the season and fell 57-12.

"We had a rough start and couldn't get back in it," Ram coach Ron Scholtz said.

Sean Golding had touchdown runs and Trenton Shelton had 66 yards on 10 carries for Rockville.
