Manchester Bests Rockville in Boys Hoop Opener

The Indians pulled away in the second half.

Manchester High School had a little better time of it than Rockville did in the boys basketball season opener in Vernon on Wednesday.

The Indians took a 95-55 contest from the Rams.

Rockville was paced by Raequan Barber and Neil Gentile, who scored 12 points apiece. 

Manchester used its athleticism to quickly pull away in the second half.

Jaquel Edwards led the Indians with 29 points and Chris Walker added 20.
