First-Graders Visit the Vo-Ag Program at RHS

First-Graders get an up-close look at agriculture and animals at Rockville High.

First-grade students from Vernon's elementary schools paid a visit to the Rockville Regional Agricultural Education Cener on Thursday.

High School students in the regional vocational-agricultural program served as tour guides and educators.

First-graders had a chance to pet a goat, an alpaca, a chicken and a snake during their field trip. They also were given a lesson on shearing a sheep and had an opportunity to plant and take home a flower.
