Earle Turns Away 34 Shots as BCR Picks Up 12th Win

The team was a 2-0 winner.

It was another shutout for Bolton/Coventry/Rockville goalie Cameron Earle.

Earle recorded 34 saves as BCR defeated St. Bernard/Bacon Academy/NFA 2-0 on Wednesday at at the Norwich Municipal Rink.

Both BCR goals were scored by Eddie Bates. He scored from Hunter Byram and Mike Leardi at the 3:06 mark of the first period and from Kevin Morton and Leardi at 13:55 of the second period.

BCR is now 12-1-1 and St. Bernard/Bacon Academy/NFA is 6-9
 
"Today's win was not pretty and we were very fortunate to have had Cameron Earle in net as he is the main reason why we achieved a victory," said BCR coach Christian Stevenson.

Earle stopped a breakaway and and a 2 on none within 2 minutes of each other late in the game.

BCR is slated to play Hall/Southington on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Veteran's Arena in West Hartford.
