BCR Hockey Team Defeats Tri-Town

BCR is now 2-0.

A power play goal made the difference as the Bolton/Coventry/Rockville hockey team defeated Tri-Town 1-0 on Thursday at Enfield's Twin Rinks complex.

Tri-Town is made up of players from Ellington, East Windsor and Somers.

The lone goal came at the 11:54 mark of the first period when, with BCR  man-up, Justin Piretti scored from Mike Leardi.

BCR goalie Cameron Earle made 26 saves.

Tri-Town goalie Cam Pinkham had 37 saves.

BCR is now 2-0 while Tri-Town fell to 0-3.

Said BCR coach Christian Stevenson, "The lone goal of the game was a powerplay goal. We had quite a few quality chances, hit a few posts and saw the Tri-Town goalie make some fantastic stops."
