BCR Finishes the Regular Season at 17-1-2

The league title game is on tap for Saturday.

The Bolton/Coventry/Rockville hockey team completed a home-and-home sweep of Lyman Hall/Haddam Killingworth on Wednesday with a 6-3 win at the Northford Ice Pavilion.

BCR finished the regular season at 17-1-2 and now awaits its state Division  III tournament seeding.

The team is scheduled to play in the CCC championship game on Saturday against Hall/Southington. Face-off is slated for 7 p.m. at Trinity College.

"We played our last regular-season game and are now looking forward to the State tournament," BCR coach Christian Stevenson said. "Nate Tonzi and Seth Alexanderowicz stood out as two players who worked very hard all game."

BCR was a 10-2 winner over LH/HK on Tuesday at the Bolton Ice Palace.
