This just in!
A very serious epidemic is sweeping the nation, including in high schools near you.
Senioritis is attacking graduating seniors in the class of 2012 all over the country. It is for this reason that the following definition is provided in order for the common folk to understand just how serious a matter this is. Senioritis: A state of mind every graduating senior in high school experiences; the brain of high school seniors being shut off and planning pre-college summer road trips rather than focus on their final high school semester.
Much of the above definition is considered silly, however senioritis is very serious and we ask that it is looked at as the same epidemics that have hit the nation in previous years. Many members of the senior class all over the country are currently reporting serious symptoms of: daydreams, heavy eyelids, loss of memory, confusion, and smiling when a mention of the word ‘summer’ is said within ear shot. If you or a loved one has developed any of the symptoms, they may be affected by this extreme strain of the virus.
Please take note that it is not severe, and will wear off once the school year ends. We ask that teachers cut down on their workload and forgive a forgotten notebook or pencil every once in a while.
We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
