Vernon Town Council Adopts Budgetary Review Schedule
Two public hearings have been scheduled.
Mayor George Apel said this week he hopes to have the 2013-14 budget proposal in the hands of Town Council members by March 11.
And with that, the council on Tuesday adopted a budgetary review schedule.
Here is the slate:
• March 16, 9 a.m - the first budgetary public hearing.
• March 23, 1 p.m.
• March 25, 7:30 p.m.
• March 27, 7:30 p.m.
• March 28, 7:30 p.m. - the second budgetary public hearing.
• April 3 is being kept in reserve in case the council needs the date. If the council meets that night, it will be at 7:30.
Budget meetings will take place at Town Hall.
The annual Town Meeting is scheduled for April 23 at 7 p.m. at Rockville High School.
