Reval is what happened. The town has to now adjust the mill rate to be able to collect the same amount of income as in past years.

Yes, Reval is what happened and Deval has occurred which says the property owners in Vernon now have lost even more ground. Revolt is what must happen if taxes increase without real spending cuts..

Ouch is not a good feeling to decribe it, more like OMG!!!! We did not get a property tax increase this past year. Well, it looks like we will get a big one coming our way for next year. We need to fill all of these empty properties that we see all around Vernon. We need the Town to cut back on expenses.

Cutting could be painful

@Rocky no matter how you look at it's going to be "PAINFUL{- they want to Raise the Mayors salary (painful), Schools need more money (painful), our taxes may go up (painful). Probably more expenses will be needed as the year goes on (MORE PAIN)!!! "The pain is all for the taxpayers"
