Vernon Adding Phone Books to Recycling List

Phone books have been added to the list of recyclables that the town will collect each week, Public Works Director Robert Kleinhans announced on Tuesday.

Residents may dispose of phone books in either the blue recycling carts or the orange recycling bins if they do not yet have a blue one, Kleinhans said.

A complete list of acceptable recyclables has been posted on the town's Web site. To view it, go to www.vernon-ct.gov and click on the Public Works link under departments.
