No VernonTrash or Recycling Collection on Vets Day

The route will be combined with Tuesday's collections next week.

The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, Nov 12, in observance of  Veterans Day.  

Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected on Tuesday, Nov. 13 along with that day's normal route collection.    

Excess refuse and recycling may be brought to the Transfer Station free of charge on Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays noon to 4 p.m.

 The Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday, November 11.
