Mr. McCoy Goes to Facebook
The mayor sets up a Facebook page for his possible Senate run.
Mayor Jason McCoy's exploratory efforts for a U.S. Senate run have found their way onto Facebook.
A page entitled "Jason McCoy for Senate'' has popped up on the social networking site.
So far, 17 Facebook users have "liked'' the page. Board of Education member Laura Bush is among the fans of the page. McCoy was sending out invitations to 'like'' the page on Wednesday.
McCoy, a Republican, announced he was not seeking a third term as mayor of Vernon in July. He said he would be exploring a run for the U.S. Senate.
