Kentfield Gets a Cake - and a Nice Sendoff
She is stepping down at the Town Council's Recording Secretary.
There was cake at Tuesday's Town Council meeting.
Mayor George Apel said Jill Kentfield earned it.
Kentfield served her last meeting as the council's recording secretary this week and Apel gave her a good sendoff. She received a bouquet of flowers and Apel read a mayoral citation to honor her five years of service.
And there was cake.
Danielle Forand will become the new recording secretary at the next scheduled council meeting - Jan. 15.
