Governor to Welcome Home National Guard Members

The plane is scheduled to land at 9:30 p.m.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is scheduled to officially welcome home 30 members of the 103rd Civil Engineers Squadron on Monday evening.

The National Guard unit is returning from deployment in Afghanistan.

The group was deployed in July and performed construction and facility repair operations, as well as other engineering tasks, according to the governor's office.

Malloy visited the unit during his trip to Afghanistan in November.

Squadron is scheduled to land shortly after 9:30 p.m.

The ceremony is scheduled for the Bradley Air National Guard Base, 100 Nicholson Road, East Granby, near Bradley International Airport.
