Bus Route Debated Tonight, Council Meeting on Tuesday

The Board of Education is scheduled to meet tonight in a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the administration building.
Agenda highlights:
• Transportation hearing regarding a bus route from Talcott Avenue to Rockville High School.
The Town Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

• Public hearing regarding the disposition of 35 Village St.
• Purchase of three fire vehicles for $1.4 million.
• Waive the bidding for emergency repairs to the Talcottville Road sewage pump station for an amount not to exceed $25,222.
• Designate $55,000 for repairs to the top floor of 55 West Main St.
• Vote on a general wage increase of 2.5 percent for non-union employees, retroactive to July 1.
The Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
