Woman Facing Drug Charges After Task Force Raid

She was assigned more than $100,000 in bonds.

A raid at a Rockville home has landed a Vernon woman with drug charges. 

At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 13 Oak St., according to a news release.
 
Task force officers had developed information that narcotic activity was taking place at the address, according to a news release. Task force officers initiated an investigation and obtained sufficient evidence to secure a search warrant for the premises, according to a news release.  

Task force officers executed the search warrant and seized cocaine and drug paraphernalia from the home, according to a news release. 
A resident, identified as Carrie St. Aman, was arrested as a result, according to a news release. 

Task force members also served three arrest warrants on St. Aman for the sale and Possession of a controlled substance, according to a news release. The warrants are part of an investigation in which St. Aman was allegedly selling prescription pills in Vernon, according to a news release. 

There was also a small child in the home during the search warrant investigation, and DCF was on the scene to assist, police said.

The charges against St. Aman, 38, are possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $15,000.00 surety, police said.

The three Warrants for the possession and sale of a controlled substance carried $35,000 court-set bonds each, according to a news release.
