Windsor Trio Charged for Fighting on Route 83 in Vernon

Vernon police rained on their parade.

Three Windsor men were found fighting in the middle of Route 83 in the pouring rain early Wednesday morning and are facing two charges each as a result, a arrest report indicates.

Police said that at about 1 a.m., an officer on routine patrol found Bryan Solkick, Patrick Saint Aubin and Samuel Miodowski, all 20, going at it near the entrance to the Tri-City Plaza shopping center.

It was raining steadily at the time and they were in the middle of the road, according to an arrest report. That section of Route 83 is near four shopping plazas and an entrance ramp to Interstate-84.

Solnick lives at 48 Village Lane, Saint Aubin at 97 Old Kennedy Road and Miodowski at 73 Maple Ave. in Windor, police said.

All three were charged with second-degree breach of peace and the reckless use of a highway by a pedestrian.

They were each released on a $1,500 bond and are scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on June 26, police said.
