Weekend Arrests

Arrests made between Friday and Tuesday morning.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Vernon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.



A Manchester man has been charged with narcotics possession after a motor vehicle stop at 12:50 this morning on Hartford Turnpike, police said.

Leonard Singleton, 43, of 183 Cougar Dr., Manchester, was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court on Feb. 28, police said.

He was found with cocaine during the stop, police said.



An Enfield man is facing a driving under the influence charge after a traffic stop in Vernon at 9:43 p.m. on Friday in Vernon, according to an arrest report.

Linwood Bump, 52, of 20 Steele Rd., Enfield, was released on a $250 bond and is schooled to appear in court on Feb. 21, police said.



A Coventry man is facing three charges after a traffic stop in Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, police said.

David Marineau, 45, of 456 Carpenter Rd., Coventry, was charged with driving too close, DUI and operating a motor vehicle without the proper insurance, police said.



A juvenile has been charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny after being arrested by the school resource officer at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, according to an arrest report.

The juvenile has been assigned a Feb. 22 court date, police said.



A South Windsor man has been charged with violating a protective order, according to an arrest report.

Viktor Virgalla, 27, of 4 Good Hill Rd, South Windsor, was taken into custody at the juvenile courthouse at 11 a.m. on Friday, police said. 

His bond was set at $10,000 , police said, but court information was incomplete in an arrest report.



A South Windsor man is facing three motor vehicle charges after surrendering to authorities on Friday, according to an arrest report.

Richard Prunier, 58, of 871 Avery St., South Windsor, has been charged with  evading responsibility, passing on the right  and reckless driving, police said.

He was released on a $2,500 bond and has a court date of Feb. 21, police said.
