Weekend Activity Includes Drug Arrests

An East Hartford man has been arrested for violating his probation.

James Albert Lee, 32, of 57 Prospect St., East Hartford, surrendered to Vernon police at 3:30 p.m. on New Year's Day, police said. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 10, according to an arrest report.

A Hartford man is facing drug charges after his arrest at 42 East Main St. on Friday, police said.

According to an arrest report, Chillon Cook, 36, of 27 Rosemont St., Hartford, was taken into custody at 8:46 p.m., police said.

He is due in court on Jan. 10 to face charges that include both possession and the sale of a controlled substance, according to an arrest report. Police were not specific about the drug.

Cook is also facing an illegal tinted window motor vehicle violation, police said.

His bond was set art $2,000, according to a police report.

A Vernon woman was arrested for failure to appear in court.

Police said that Erica Chambers, 24, of 192 Terrace Dr., was charges at 9 a.m. on Friday.

She was scheduled to appear in court that day on drug charges and risk of injury to a child, according to police records. .

The charges stem from a domestic incident. After she was arrested for the incident, bags of PCP were found on her packaged for street sales, police records indicate.
