Vernon Woman Facing Multiple Forgery Charges

She was charged after a traffic stop, police said.

What started out as a traffic stop wound up as a series of forgery-related charges against a Vernon woman on Monday, an arrest report indicates.

At 9:30 a.m. on Bolton Road near the Interstate-84 interchanges, police stopped Alicia Woodbury, 26, of 117 Vernon Ave. Police then discovered there were outstanding warrants against her related to stolen or forged checks, according to an arrest report.

The was charged with three sets of second-degree forgery and fifth-degree larceny,. police said.

Each charge had a $10,000 bond, police said.
