The following information was supplied by the Vernon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A 26-year-old Vernon man was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, and weapons in a motor vehicle after a domestic incident on Sunday, police said.
Travis Lardi, of 486 Tunnel Rd., was involved in a domestic dispute with his sister at their home and fled the scene, police said.
Lardi reportedly threw a large knife at his sister, which hit and cut her leg causing it to bleed, police said. He returned to the scene a short time later and was taken into custody without incident, police said. He was to appear in court on Tuesday, police said.
Michelle Wrisley, 23, of 94 West St., was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace at 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday.
A warrant had been issued for her arrest, police said.
She was released on a $500 bond and is slated to be in court on Tuesday, police said.
A Vernon woman was charged with possession of narcotics and the use of drug paraphernalia on Sunday, police said.
Donna Armstrong, 46, of 9 Mountain St., was taken into custody at 10 p.m., police said. No court information was available.
Kenneth Ireland, 23, of 15 Linden Place, was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, DUI, two counts of narcotics possession and operating an unregistered vehicle after a traffic stop on Saturday, police said.
Police said Ireland was stopped for not wearing his seat belt. According to an arrest report, he was asked to exit the vehicle, which he did without incident.
Police said he admitted there was a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, Ireland admitted there was a bag of heroin in the vehicle, police said.
A small bag of heroin and a package of suboxone were recovered from the
vehicle, police said. He was taken into custody without incident, released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 11, police said.
A Manchester man was charged with driving under the influence and a signal violation after a traffic stop on Sunday at 1:27 a.m., police said.
Morden Walters, 34, of 34 Elron St., Manchester, was released on a $500 bond and is due on court on Sept. 10, police said.
A Vernon woman was taken into custody at her 32 Orchard St. residence at 11 p.m. on Saturday after a domestic violence incident, police said.
Jillian Knox, 29, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, police said. She was released on a $1,500 bond and was assigned a Tuesday court date, police said.
David Horvithy, 30, of 20 Otis Drive, Manchester, was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, narcotics possession and the use of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 7 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
He was released on a $2,500 bond and is due in court on Sept. 11, police said.
A Manchester woman is facing several charges after she allegedly violated a protective order at 58 Spring Street on Friday night, police said.
Sharon Brock, 22, of 70 Carriage Dr., Manchester, was arrested at 8:30 p.m., and charged with a protective order violation after she went to an ex-boyfriend's residence, police said.
She was also charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace on an outstanding warrant, police said.
She was held on a pair of $500 bonds while awaiting a scheduled Tuesday court appearance, police said.
Joshua D'Angona, 21, of 150 Hany Lane, was charged with violating a protective order at 4:24 p.m. on Friday and is due on court on Tuesday after posting a $1,500 bond, police said.
He was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop but is not supposed to be with an ex-girlfriend, police said.
