Vernon Teen Charged With Protective Order Violation

A Vernon teen has been charged with violating a protective order after an incident on Monday, police said.

Police responded to a domestic dispute near 77 East St. at 7:19 p.m. on Monday, according to an arrest report. It is a shopping plaza just off Route 30.

Benny Yang, 18, of 51 Kevin Dr., was arrested for violating a "no-contact protective order," as a result, police said.

He was to appear in court on Tuesday on a $500 bond, police said.
