Vernon Police: Women Facing Charges After Domestic Incidents on Thursday

The arrests were made after separate altercations, police said.

Two women are facing charges related to separate domestic disturbances on Thursday, the Vernon police arrest log indicates.

At 11:26 a.m., Monisha Tyson, 26, of 100 West St., Apt. 405, was taken into custody and charged with violating a protective order after a "verbal" domestic incident, police said.

She was released on a $500 bond and assigned a Friday court date, police said.

At 11 p.m., Brenda Brown, 48, of 41 Jordt St., Manchester, was taken into custody by an officer on the Rockville beat after police received a domestic violence complaint, police said.

She was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, police said. She was held overnight on a $500 bond while awaiting a Friday court appearance, police said.
