Vernon Police: Woman Charged After Knife Incident

It was a domestic incident gone wild, police said.

A Vernon woman has been charged with assault after she went at her boyfriend with a knife during a domestic disturbance on Tuesday, an arrest report indicates.

At 3:05 p.m., police received a call about a disturbance at 38 Mountain Street, the daily call log indicates. Police said the incident turned physical and Erin Breen, 31, of that address, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the hand with a knife, police said.

Breen was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, police said.

She was held overnight on a $750 bond and was to appear in court on Wednesday, police said.
