A Vernon woman is facing a driving under the influence charge after a traffic stop in town on Wednesday.
April Devaux, 44, of 110 Main St., was also charged with disobeying a traffic signal, police said.
Police said she was stopped and failed a a series of field sobriety tests. Her bond was set at $1,000 and she is due on court on Nov. 5.

A local homeless man has been charged with second-degree breach of peace, intimidation of a witness and second-degree threatening, police said.
Larry Maynes, 55, was arrested and charged on Tuesday, police said. A warrant was issued for an incident with a resident Maynes knows, police said. He has faced similar charges in the past, police records indicate.
In a separate case, Maynes was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.
For both sets of charges, Maynes surrendered to authorities, police said.
