Vernon Police Blotter: Oct. 15, 2012

Here are the weekend arrests.

A Hartford Man was charged with failure to respond to a payable violation after a traffic stop in Vernon at 1:58 a.m. on Sunday, police said.

Police learned during the stop that an active warrant had been issued for the arrest of Marquise Colton, 31, of 32 West Bourne Parkway, Hartford.

He is due in court on Oct. 19 on a $150 bond, police said.



A South Windsor man was charged with DUI and failure to grant the right of way after a traffic stop at 10:22 p.m. on Saturday, police said.

Timothy McCarthy, 38, of 79 Dart Hill Rd., South Windsor, was stopped at 35 Talcottville Rd., police said. The address is that of the Tri-City Plaza shopping center.

He is due on court on Oct. 22 on a $500 bond, police said.



Police on Saturday charged Marilina Novelli, 37, of 695 Talcottville Rd. with operating a motive vehicle without a license and two counts of leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle, police said.

A warrant had been issued for her arrest, police said. Her bond was set at $3,000 with a court date of Oct. 23, police said.



On Friday, Joseph Rickert, 23, of 47 High St., surrendered to authorities on a warrant stemming from two violation of a protective order charges, police said.

His bond was set at $25,000 for each with a Monday court date, police said.



A Vernon woman was charged with breach of peace and interfering after an incident at her home at 10:25 on Friday morning, police said.

Deena Campos, 37, of 18 Oak St., was told by police to stop swearing and being disorderly, but she continued, according to an arrest report. She was    released on a $500 bond and was assigned a court date of Oct. 23, police said.
