Vernon Police Blotter: MLK Weekend

An Ellington man is facing drug and motor vehicle violations as a result of his arrest at 8:50 p.m. on Friday, police said. 

Everett Swinyer, 49, of 11 Standish Rd., Ellington, was charged with speeding, driving under the influence, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and interfering, police said. 



Betty Anane, 35, of 305 Oak St., Manchester, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and interfering on Saturday, police said. 
She was arrested at 12:40 p.m., police said.
