Vernon Police Blotter: Arrests for Oct. 30, 2012

Police make two arrests.

A Vernon woman was charged with driving too closely and driving under the influence after a traffic crash on Tuesday, police said.

The accident took place at 7:27 p.m., police said. The police calls log indicates that a traffic incident took place at the Hartford Turnpike-Vernon Avenue intersection at that time.

Lynn Piretti, 50, was assigned a court date of Nov. 13 after being released on a $500 bond, police said.



Erin Crudden, 26, of 808 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, surrendered to authorities at 3:53 p.m. on Tuesday to answer a failure to appear charge, police said.

She was released on a $100 bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 13, police said.
